Extended Session: Agricultural potential of the Tver Region: development, support and partnership.

April 1, 2016 – the extended session: “Agricultural potential of the Tver Region: development, support and partnership” was held in Tver and was dedicated to the 10th anniversary of the Union of Farmers and Private Farms.

The event was attended by Alexander Petrikov, Russia's Deputy Agriculture Minister, Svetlana Maximova, State Duma Deputy, management of JS Rosagroleasing, representatives of the regional ministry of Agriculture and agricultural entrepreneurs.

Important issues for agriculture were discussed and analyzed at the event.

Igor Ruden, Acting Governor, adopted a number of decisions aimed at strengthening of the agricultural sector.

The measures of support include refund of the loan interest, provision of farmers with green box subsidies, reduction of the financial burden on agricultural producers when receiving loans and purchasing fuel for sowing campaigns.
