Day of Field in Stavropol Scientific-Research Institute of Agriculture

On June 09, 2010 Stavropol Scientific-Research Institute of Agriculture of Russian Agricultural Academy traditionally hosted the Day of Field, in which our company took active part.

On June 09, 2010 Stavropol Scientific-Research Institute of Agriculture of Russian Agricultural Academy traditionally hosted the Day of Field, in which our company took active part.

The event was organized by the region’s ministry of agriculture and Stavropol Scientific-Research Institute of Agriculture. Its participants included the first deputy chairman of Stavropol regional government Yu. Beliy, the minister of agriculture А. Manakov, representatives of Stavropol regional Duma, regional ministry of agriculture, district administration and departments of agriculture, representatives of agricultural enterprises and farming enterprises, scientists.

This time the event focused on production of high-quality grain in the region and on the necessity to reduce the production costs. Both international and Russian agrarian experts forecast that the next two years will see no increase in the prices for grain. The leading world importers are staking on high quality of grain.

Stavropol region has always been famous as a major producer of bread wheat of both durum and strong grades, but lately it has been losing ground. It is necessary to make up leeway, to step up quality in order not to lose the export potential. The region is able to annually export 4-5 mln tons of produce.

Experimental plots sown with winter wheat and sunflower and treated with Azotovit^® and Phosphatovit^® microbiological fertilizers attracted special attention of those who gathered here for the Day of Field. Scientists, agricultural manufacturers and representatives of administration all pointed out that the concept of these products fully corresponded to the theme of the event.
